Farm Girl Carnaby Street Soho London.

Farm Girl is one of those places where the health of the mind and body are clearly the intention. Located above Fitness apparel store Sweaty Betty, it is ideally located to attract the health conscious individual as well as anyone who wishes to have a quiet moment amongst the hustle and bustle.

The first impression is the cool calming lighting and earthy rustic décor, with smooth relaxing tunes to get in the mood for physical and mental nourishment. As you walk up to the counter you are acutely aware of the unlikely array of food concoctions on offer. It is truly super-food heaven with wild and wonderful food combinations offering beautifully arranged picturesque nutrient dense dishes throughout the entire menu. There is an absolute absence of anything processed and unnatural, which is in line with the general theme of the café.

Whilst trying to order I did feel the stress of indecision take over me, as everything looked so good.  I eventually settled for an Acai breakfast bowl with Amazonian frozen berries, pistachios, coconut flakes, and elderflower accompanied with a lavender latte. The £8.50 acai berry bowl was just what I needed on a hot London summers day  with a creamy cup of lavender latte coming in at £3.70, all of which were excruciating difficult to eat as they were exquisite works of culinary art, to which I was about to devour.

Farm Girl is most definitely the type of place to frequent after a hard days shopping, during your lunch break, for an after work delight or a breakfast treat. There is near enough every single superfood under the sun in this establishment put together in a way that brings sheer delight to the health and non-health enthusiast. I absolutely undeniably adore the use of flowers in their dishes as it is something that many of us would fail to incorporate into our daily diet.

So the grading begins…..cost 3 out of 5, (as some of the dishes were a bit pricey but put into context with location, I understand the reasoning behind their pricing strategy), taste 3.5 out of 5 (this score is based on the one dish I tried, I feel score would be higher if I tried dishes from different parts of the menu), food quality 4 out of 5, service 3.5 out of 5.

Would I recommend Farm Girl? Absolutely, as it is a definite go to for  cool healthy and innovative meals, not to mention it is a lovely experience. Would I go again? Absolutely as I would’ve liked to have tried more from the menu especially the hot section of the menu as some of the foods sounded mega tasty.

If you’re ever in Soho, then take a trip down to @farmgirlcafe www.thefarmgirl.co.uk   Carnaby Street, it is a great experience, brilliant vibe and cool as…..
